Why Job Recruiters Think You’re Lying

In a job application you’re putting your best foot forward. But as Rubina Ahmed-Haq discovers, one new survey reveals most recruiters are skeptical of those resumes.

“The most consistent lies that I see are around education. People implying that they’ve completed something when they’ve only taken partial courses.” says Jen. “If you’re thinking of lying like this, don’t. As it could hurt your chances of finding a job with that company now and later.”
